About Me-Collin Miller

Hello my name is Collin Miller and I am a Sports Broadcaster that specializes in reporting/camera operating. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Broadcasting from Western Illinois University and have a lot of experience in the sports field. I was the sideline reporter for the Western Illinois Men's Basketball for all four years doing interviews with players/coaches, giving live reports/interviews on ESPN 3 during , and spending lots of time doing research. I spent all four years working a camera on the sidelines for highlights for a weekly coaches show. During this time I traveled with the WIU Football team, shot highlights, and made small videos that would be used on the show. While filming sideline highlights I also did official game film for the team by filming practices, workouts, and more. I used DVSport, filmed practices, worked with coaches to get the best shots of their drills, and learned how to edit better. I had a couple different shows in the broadcasting department such as a weekly sports recap, filled in for our news station a few times, and filmed many sporting events over my four years. I did a film internship with the Joliet Slammers where I worked cameras for the live broadcast we did for home games only. I had a internship with Chicagoland Speedway as well in the ticketing department that helped teach me a lot as well. I have a vast set of skills in reporting, filming, editing, and whatever your needs may be. I am a motivated individual that strives for the best and never gives up. If you have any questions or need to contact me please email me CollinM1288@yahoo.com or my school email ce-miller5@wiu.edu or enter your email below. Thanks.
